Dear One,

You may have met Larissa in one of the parlours.

You may have wandered through the Kitchen and arrived carrying the scent of fresh bread and warm spices.

You may have paused beside a bookshelf, lingered over a blessing, or found yourself unexpectedly seated beside an angel discussing matters both ordinary and extraordinary.

If so, welcome.

I am the Chatelaine of the Celestial Café.

Keeper of the Keys. Keeper of the Realm.

My role is not to pour the tea, nor bake the bread, nor shelve the books, though I am grateful to those who do.

My role is to tend the Café itself.

To ensure the doors remain open.

To keep the pathways clear between the many rooms.

To notice when a new room wishes to appear.

And occasionally, when the time is right, to place a key into the hand of a guest and say:

"I think there may be something waiting for you through that door."

The Celestial Café is not merely a café.

It is a collection of spaces.

Some rooms are filled with laughter.

Some hold quiet reflection.

Some contain stories.

Some offer blessings.

Some exist simply so that a weary traveller may rest for a while before continuing their journey.

There is no map. At least, not a complete one.

The Café has always had a habit of revealing the next room only when it is needed.

So wander as you wish.

Visit often or only occasionally.

Stay for a few moments or a few hours.

The doors will be here when you return.

And if you find a room that brings comfort, joy, courage, wonder, or simply a moment of peace, know that it was always waiting for you.

The keys are many. The doors are never locked.

And there is always room for one more.

Many visitors pass through the Café quietly. Some stay a little longer. Others return whenever they feel the need for a warm drink, a blessing, a story, or a moment of peace.
