Dear One,
Something curious happened this week.
Overnight, a small procession of marketers discovered the entrance to the Celestial Café.
One after another they arrived, bearing offerings.
They promised visibility.
Reach.
Funnels.
Optimisation.
Lead generation.
Conversion strategies.
Some wished to increase my authority.
Others wished to improve my brand positioning.
A surprising number seemed deeply concerned about whether I was maximising my opportunities.
The angels found this fascinating.
One of them spent quite some time trying to determine exactly what a funnel was and whether tea should be poured into it.
Another wondered aloud whether "lead generation" involved alchemy.
The Chatelaine simply smiled and ordered another pot of tea.
You see, the Celestial Café has never operated quite like other places.
Most websites greet you with urgency.

Act before midnight.
The Café prefers a different approach.
We leave the door open.
We keep a warm table available.
We trust that the people who are meant to arrive will eventually find their way here.
Not because they were chased.
Not because they were persuaded.
Not because a countdown timer informed them that destiny expires in seventeen minutes.
But because something called to them.
A story.
A conversation.
A blessing.
A passing mention of angels drinking tea.
A travelling tarot reader.
A café at the edge of something larger than itself.
The marketers see a website.
The regulars see a doorway.
The angels see a threshold.
And perhaps that is the difference.
The purpose of this place has never been to convince anyone.
Only to welcome them.
If you arrive and discover these stories are not for you, that is perfectly all right.
The tea will still be warm.
The chairs will still be here.
The angels will still be arguing gently about whether cinnamon scrolls should be considered a spiritual practice.
But if you arrive and recognise something familiar...
If you find yourself lingering a little longer than intended...
If one story leads to another, and another after that...
Then perhaps you have not discovered a website at all.
Perhaps you have found an entrance.
The marketers have certainly found it.
The question is:
Have you?
The kettle is on.
The sign is hanging in the window.
The door remains open.
